Sona Roop Hai Peeli Peeli Sarson by Daler Mehndi

On the occasion of Baisakhi, DRecords presents you another blockbuster song “Sona Roop Hai Peeli Peeli Sarson” sung and composed by the Maverick Daler Mehndi.

Vaisakhi, also known as Baisakhi, celebrated as a harvest festival, across the northern Indian subcontinent, especially in the Punjab region by the Sikh community. This day is also observed as the thanks giving day by the farmers whereby the farmers pay their tribute, thanking God for the abundant harvest and also praying for the future prosperity.

The Song celebrates the feeling of happiness metaphorically using the nature’s full bloom, the sun’s glare, the mustard flowers with ‘Love’ & longing of a lover. Mehndi’s high pitched vocals & fast paced tempo of the song sets stage for ‘Bhangra’.

Talking about the festival, Mehndi said, “Baisakhi is a festival that unites the world in one thread, that of Humanity, prophesying a fearless way of happy life. It was on this day the tenth Sikh Guru; Shri Guru Gobind Singh Ji blessed humanity with “The Khalsa” – both saints and soldiers.

Mehndi is famous for giving songs that use beautiful words and can instantly hook a listener to dance.
